courses after our acceditation as a BSAC premier centre.this is in conjunction
with the medical education centre of Whipps Cross University Hospital

Entry requirement
- Club/Ocean Diver
The
value of oxygen in the first aid treatment of decompression sickness is
well established. An A to Z course on equipment and techniques.
The aim of this one day course is to teach the administration of Oxygen
as a means of increasing the effectiveness of the first aid treatment
of diving accidents. The course requires no prior knowledge of oxygen
equipment but up to date knowledge of diving related disorders and their
symptoms is necessary. This is a mandatory course for the BSAC Advanced
Diver qualification.

First
Aid for Divers
Entry requirement
- Club/Ocean Diver
Full of useful information on how to apply first aid when dealing with
diving related injuries. First Aid for Divers covers the emergency actions
needed to preserve life.
Even if you already hold a certificate from one of the first aid agencies,
this one day course looks at the subject from the diving viewpoint and
relates specifically to first aid for diving related injuries.

requirement - Sports Diver + First Aid for Divers Course and Oxygen Administration
Course
This new course introduces more advanced first aid skills such as use
of bag valve resuscitators, intubation and neck stabilisation. It also
provides refresher training for holders of the BSAC First Aid for Divers
and Oxygen Administration certificates. The course concludes with a practical
assessment: those who reach the required standard will receive the BSAC
Rescue First Aid Award.
