WHAT WE DO
Our London diving medical service at Whipps Cross Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diving medicals and assessments for both sport (scuba) divers and commercial divers.

We offer
- HSE Dive medicals for Commercial Divers
- HSE dive medicals for working Instructors (eg. PADI)
- Follow-up assessments after treatment for decompression illness
- Sport diving medicals (if yes box has been ticked in pre-dive self certification form, for BSAC, PADI, SSI and other agencies)
- Oil & Gas UK Medicals
- Corporate Travel Medicals (in conjunction with iNHEMACO) here
at our London Hyperbaric Chamber, all carried out by experienced dive medical doctors and Approved Medical Examiner of Divers (AMED)s experienced in scuba diving medicine.

- Sportdiving medicals (PADI / BSAC etc) £60
- Post DCI follow-up assessments £60
- HSE medical (initial) £100
- HSE medical (repeat) £80
- Oil & Gas UK medical £150
WHAT TO DO
Initial HSE Medical Form
If it is your first HSE medical, please download the form, fill it out and take it to your GP prior to attending your medical with us. No examination is required by your GP, only a signature.

PADI / BSAC Medicals
Please contact our doctors by phone on 020 8539 1222 or email BEFORE booking online to avoid a wasted journey as there are some conditions which will mean we are unable to certify you as fit to dive. Please bring a summary from your GP covering the last 2 years. If you have diabetes please complete section A of Diving & Diabetes and ask your GP to complete section B.
Payment
Payment must be made in person when attending for a medical, by cash debit / credit card or cheque.
