Clinical Governance
The Registered Provider of the Hyperbaric Services at both Whipps Cross University Hospital and James Paget University Hospital (Care Standards ACT 2002) is Mr Philip Sayers, BSc. Mr. Sayers has been involved in the construction and management of Hyperbaric facilities for over 12 years and has been Managing Director of London Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Centres Ltd. since its establishment in November 2000.The registered provider is directly accountable to the Trust's Chief Executive at both hospitals in all issues concerning clinical governance and the Hyperbaric facilities are tied into the Hospital's Critical Care Directorates. The Assistant Director of Critical Care, Mrs. Sue Edwards, is the liaison officer responsible for overseeing and monitoring the performance of the Department at Whipps Cross and at the James Paget University hospital this duty falls to its Operations Manager Mr Andrew Fox.
